If you're considering Celebrex (celecoxib), you know that Celebrex (celecoxib) and other medications may not be the best options for you. There are a few things you can do to reduce the risk of developing serious side effects.
First, let's take a closer look at what Celebrex and other NSAIDs are and how they work.
Celebrex is a selective COX-2 inhibitor. By blocking the COX-2 enzyme, Celebrex can increase the amount of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) in the body. This helps to lower blood pressure and lower the risk of heart attacks and strokes. Celebrex is also used to reduce the risk of certain cancers and inflammation (such as breast, prostate, and colon cancer).
It is important to talk with your healthcare provider before taking Celebrex or any other medication. They will determine if Celebrex is right for you based on your health history and other medications you may be taking.

Celebrex is not approved for the treatment of osteoporosis or other forms of cancer. By blocking the COX-2 enzyme, Celebrex helps lower the levels of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), which helps lower blood pressure. By doing this, it decreases the production of harmful substances, such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), which can cause serious side effects such as kidney problems and heart attacks.
